Yesterday, the owners of a Nokia 808 PureView smartphone had all the reasons to rejoice, as the Finnish handset vendor started to roll out the FP2 update for their devices.

However, their joy was short-lived, as the company has already pulled the software off its servers, due to a series of issues that affected users’ experience.

“Just a quick heads up. We've heard about some issues after the update and now decided to take the update files off our servers until we have investigated the case,” a Nokia employee noted in a forum post.

Some of the problems that users have encountered included a not working Nokia Store and lack of streaming for Nokia Music, along with the lack of Flash support or of the Video Pro app that was announced for the update.

There’s no telling on when the software will begin being deployed again, but stay tuned for more on the matter.
