Nokia has just released a small update for its Play to DLNA application for Windows Phone in order to fix some issues experienced by users who upgraded to Lumia Black.

Obviously, the application is only compatible with the Nokia Lumia smartphone, but it still doesn’t allow users to connect to PlayStation 3 or stream media from the cloud.

Italian blog site Plaffo points out that the Play to DLNA app received other improvements as well, such as better Wi-Fi connectivity in order to ensure that the application continues to work with future devices and firmware updates.

Developers also state that users should update their phones with the latest firmware before downloading and installing the application.

You can now download Play to DLNA for Windows Phone for free via Windows Phone Store. Keep in mind that the application should be fully compatible with Nokia Lumia devices powered by Windows Phone 8 and up.
