Shortly after it started to arrive on shelves around the world, Nokia Lumia 930, the flagship Windows Phone 8.1 handset from Microsoft, has received its first software update.

The new firmware release for the handset is supposedly set to provide users with a series of small enhancements, though specific info on what it delivers hasn’t been unveiled as of yet.

At the moment, the new software is rolling out to Nokia Lumia 930 devices out there as build number 14252.51003, which indeed shows that it is only a minor update, since the handset was previously running firmware version 51002.

As WPCentral notes, chances are that the new release resolves some of the issues previously spotted on the device, such as a display tint, or problems with its buttons.

The update should be delivered to all Nokia Lumia 930 devices out there, though only unlocked models are receiving it at the moment, it seems.

As soon as the update is available for your smartphones, you will receive a notification on the matter. However, you can also manually check on its availability, by heading to Settings > Phone update > Check for update.

Keep in mind that the update will need some time to arrive in all regions and that some carriers might not deploy it on their handsets, at least not in the form available at the moment.
