We reported last week that Microsoft delayed the launch of the Nokia Lumia 930 until at least mid-July. The reasons of the delay were not confirmed, but rumors claim that it has something to do with the recent acquisition of Nokia’s mobile division.

The good news is that Windows Phone fans will not have to wait so long to get the Lumia 930, as Microsoft will be putting the smartphone on sale beginning July 7, WPCentral reports.

The information comes via Russian forum WP7forum.ru and also includes some details on how Microsoft plans to make it up for the delay of the smartphone.

It appears that all those who pre-order the Nokia Lumia 930 will also receive a free voucher worth 1,200 rubles ($35 / €25) which can be used to purchase apps and games via Windows Phone Store.

Speaking of which, customers in Russia will be able to grab the Nokia Lumia 930 for no less than 24,990 rubles outright, which is about $735 or €535.

Nokia Lumia 930 is one of the few smartphones to ship with Windows Phone 8.1 operating system out of the box, so those who prefer this mobile platform over Android, iOS and BlackBerry may want to give it a try.
