Lumia 920T, the Chinese flavor of Nokia’s flagship Windows Phone 8 device, was launched in the country at the beginning of this month, and has already been available for pre-order for some time now, but it seems that it won’t hit shelves before the end of the year.

The smartphone is available exclusively at wireless carrier China Mobile, which lists it up for reservations at 4599 yuan ($738 / €560), but which mentions on the pre-order page that units will be shipped only after January 1, 2013, as UnwiredView notes.

Packing support for the carrier’s TD-SCDMA network, Lumia 920T sports the same features and capabilities as the international flavor of the smartphone.

The handset will also arrive on shelves in China unlocked, and has already been listed on Nokia’s website in the country.
