Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia is not readying the Lumia 920 for an official release in India this month, the latest reports on the matter suggest.

Apparently, although the company has put India on the list of countries set to receive the device in November, it did so in error, and a specific launch date for the smartphone on the local market hasn’t been set as of yet.

According to BGR India, a Nokia spokesperson for the country has already confirmed this state of facts, without being able to offer more details on the handset’s launch.

At the moment, Nokia is said to be working with wireless carriers in the country to make sure that the Windows Phone 8 flagship handset is compatible with their networks, so that users would benefit from the best possible experience.
