Owners of a Nokia Lumia 920 smartphone on the network of Canadian wireless carrier Rogers are currently receiving the 1308 firmware update for their devices, the latest reports on the matter suggest.

The update, officially announced last month and spotted on devices since several weeks ago, at least in the US, has started to land on smartphones around the world last week, when Nokia officially confirmed its immediate availability.

The update will provide users with various enhancements on their devices, including a series of improvements for sensors and screen brightness, and a new Storage Check option. Users will also benefit from a series of enhancements brought to the phone’s camera, it seems.

A notification will pop up on the smartphone as soon as the update is available for download but, as WPCentral notes, users can also check for it manually, through going to Settings > Phone Update > Check for Updates.
