Lumia 920, the flagship Windows Phone 8 smartphone that Nokia unveiled to the world last week, is expected to become available for purchase in Switzerland in mid-November.

Swisscom, the largest wireless carrier in the country, has already confirmed plans to make the new device available for its users at that time, WMPoweruser has found out.

The handset will be launched only online in the beginning, but it will reach the carrier’s retail locations as well, starting with mid-December. Lumia 920 was unveiled to the world with a 4.5-inch touchscreen display and with a dual-core 1.5Ghz Snapdragon S4 CPU inside, as well as with an 8.7-megapixel PureView camera on the back.

The handset packs 32GB of internal memory, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS receiver, as well as support for HSPA+ and LTE networks, among other appealing features.
