In March, United States-based wireless carrier AT&T will add to its offering the first Nokia Windows Phone to pack LTE connectivity, namely the Lumia 900.

The handset will be exclusive to this carrier, though only for 45 days, new reports suggest. Moreover, it appears that more operators in the US will be receiving the smartphone this year.

Sometime in mid-2012, other carriers in the country might add to their lineup an upgraded flavor of the handset. T-Mobile is said to be a possible candidate for the mobile phone, though Sprint and Verizon might follow suit as well.

The new version of Lumia 900 should include a 12-megapixel photo snapper on the back, an upgrade from the 8MP camera on the original. Most probably, some other improvements will also be included in the mix. Stay tuned for more on this.
