Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia is gearing up for the release of its Nokia Lumia 900 smartphone on various markets around the world, including Europe.

The Windows Phone device will arrive on shelves in the United States on April 8th, and should reach other markets around the world soon after.

Unfortunately, no official announcement on when that might happen has been made for the time being.

However, a recent tweet from Swisscom is meant to solve the mystery: the Lumia 900 is expected to be put up for sale in Europe in early May.

Roughly one month from now, users on the old continent will be able to enjoy the features and capabilities that this device has to offer, although the high-speed LTE connectivity won’t be among them (Lumia 900 will be launched outside the US with Dual Channel HSDPA).
