The smartphone could be launched sometime in summer

Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia is reportedly gearing up to make its Lumia 900 smartphone available on the networks of more wireless carriers in the United States.

The company launched the Windows Phone via AT&T last week, and is now considering the phone’s release at more operators, the latest reports on the matter suggest.

A T-Mobile employee in the know has confirmed that the wireless carrier will be adding the smartphone to its offering sometime in summer.

This is not the first time when similar rumors emerge, WMPoweruser reports. Back in January, when AT&T and Nokia went official with the Lumia 900, the carrier was said to benefit from a 45-day only exclusivity period on the smartphone.

Since nothing has been officially confirmed on this, we’ll take the info with a grain of salt, but we’ll keep an eye out for additional details.
