In August, Canadian mobile phone users will be able to purchase the Nokia Lumia 635 smartphone on the network of wireless carrier TELUS, the operator confirmed today, MobileSyrup reports.

The handset, made official back in April as the cheapest Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone to include 4G LTE connectivity capabilities, has already arrived on shelves in the country via Rogers and Fido, but it seems that other Canadian carriers will also pick it up.

For those out of the loop, we should note that this device is nothing else than a Nokia Lumia 630 device with LTE capabilities.

The mobile phone arrives on shelves with a 4.5-inch touchscreen display, a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, and 512MB of RAM. Moreover, it features a 5-megapixel camera on the back, with 720p video recording capabilities.

The handset was announced with an 1830mAh non-removable battery, 8GB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot that allows users to add up to 128GB of additional storage space to it.

The phone also includes all of the features and capabilities that the Windows Phone 8.1 operating system was announced with, which include Action Center, Internet Explorer 11, Word Flow, Start Screen backgrounds, and more. Stay tuned for additional info on Lumia 635’s arrival at TELUS.
