Unveiled in early April during Microsoft’s Build 2014 developer conference, Nokia Lumia 635 is expected to go on sale later this month. This would make this week the perfect time for Nokia to start the promotion campaign for the affordable Windows Phone handset.

Although the Lumia 635 does not have a release date yet, Nokia is betting on the phone’s hardware and software capabilities, both of which are highlighted in this 1-minute promo.

Nokia Lumia 635 is one of the first smartphones to ship with Windows Phone 8.1 operating system out of the box, along with other devices such as Lumia 630 and Lumia 930.

The smartphone has been confirmed to pack a 4.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 854 x 480 pixels resolution and features Nokia’s ClearBlack technology and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating.

On the inside, the Lumia 635 is equipped with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, which is complemented by 512MB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory.

The smartphone also comes with microSD card slot (up to 128GB), 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, as well as LTE, HSPA+ (42Mbps), Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. Keep in mind that Lumia 635 does not feature a front-facing camera.
