Last month, Nokia officially announced that its affordable Lumia 620 Windows Phone 8 handset would go on sale in India in early February.

Unfortunately for Windows Phone fans, the Finnish company has just confirmed for IBNlive that Nokia Lumia 620 won't arrive in India until the first week of March.

No other explanations have been provided by the Nokia spokesperson making the announcement, so Indian customers can only hope the handset maker will stick to its promise this time.

The cheapest Windows Phone 8 handset launched by Nokia, Lumia 620 will be available in yellow, white, black, cyan and magenta for a price that will be disclosed closer to launch.

The smartphone comes equipped with a 1GHz dual-core CPU, an Adreno 305 graphics processing unit, 512MB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 64GB). More details on the phone's specs sheet are available here.
