The cheapest and less-featured Windows Phone device launched by Nokia, Lumia 610 has just landed in New Zealand. The smartphone is up for grab through Vodafone on select plans.

Customers who do not want to commit to long term contract can purchase the Nokia Lumia 610 for around $449 NZD ($360 USD or 285 EUR) outright.

The smartphone is powered by Windows Phone 7.5 and packs an 800 MHz single core processor, which is complemented by an obsolete Adreno 200 GPU and a mere 256MB of RAM.

It also sports a pretty decent 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution and only 65k colors. On the back, the phone features a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash as well as video recording. Check it out here.
