Nokia confirmed late last month that its new Lumia 520 and 720 smartphones would be launched on the Chinese market as well.

Although we expect that the Windows Phone 8 phones will arrive in Europe first, GSMInsider reports that the devices have already received their Bluetooth and Wi-Fi certifications and are now expected to arrive in the Mainland.

They will be launched as Nokia Lumia 520T and Lumia 720T and will be available for purchase via China Mobile carrier.

There’s no word on availability and pricing options yet, but these handsets won’t be compatible with other networks except China Mobile’s TD-SCDMA network.

In related news, several UK-based retailers have confirmed that Nokia Lumia 520 and Lumia 720 will be available for purchase beginning April 1, so it shouldn’t take too long for the smartphones to arrive in China as well.
