Starting with April 8, mobile phone users in Italy should be able to purchase the Lumia 520 smartphone from Nokia, recent reports on the matter suggest.

The device was confirmed a while ago to be en route to this country, yet no official details on its availability and pricing have been provided until now.

However, it seems that Nokia has already shared this info with the world, and plaffo notes that next Monday will bring the device to shelves, with a price tag of 199 Euro ($255) attached to it, contract-free.

Made official at the 2013 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, along with Lumia 720, Nokia's Lumia 520 is the most affordable Windows phone 8 smartphone in Nokia’s current lineup.

The handset arrives on the market with a 4-inch touchscreen display, a 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 8GB of memory, and a 5-megapixel camera on the back.
