Starting today, users in India can purchase the Nokia Lumia 520 in their country via both Nokia’s store and various retailers, for only Rs. 10499 ($192 / €147), contract free.

The cheapest Windows Phone 8-based smartphone from Nokia has been already available for pre-order in India, and is now up for grabs in various color flavors, including Black, Cyan, Red, White and Yellow.

As WMPoweruser notes, the handset is listed as available on this page in the Nokia Shop, as well as on Saholic’s website at the moment, though it still hasn’t shed the “pre-order” tag at other online retailers.

Lumia 520 packs a 4-inch screen, a 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, microSD memory card slot, a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, and the usual set of connectivity capabilities.
