Nokia Lumia 1520, the latest flagship Windows Phone 8 device from the Finnish mobile phone maker, was supposed to land in users’ hands starting today, but it seems that some of those who ordered the phone will have to wait a few more weeks for it to arrive.

Apparently, both AT&T and Microsoft's online stores have started to send out emails to users to inform them on the shipment delays.

“Because of overwhelming demand, your Nokia Lumia 1520 order is delayed in shipping. As soon as your shipping label is printed, we'll send you an email with the tracking information. You can also track your order on our site,” such a message reads, WPCentral reports.

Apparently, AT&T has also informed some users that the handset will be shipped on or around December 2. Microsoft Store offered a promotional code for a $25 (€18.5) price cut for the next purchase from the online portal.
