The smartphone will pack a full HD screen, supposedly a 6-inch one

On October 22, Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia should make official a new series of devices, including a Windows Phone 8 smartphone that is expected to feature a 6-inch touchscreen, called Lumia 1520.

Following a lot of speculation on the matter, the name of this smartphone appears to have finally been confirmed, courtesy of an Open Mobile Alliance profile.

As NokiaPoweruser notes, the listing confirms not only that the upcoming mobile phone will be called Lumia 1520, but also the fact that it will arrive on shelves with a full HD 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution.

The mobile phone has also been rumored to arrive on shelves with a quad-core processor packed inside, and with the upcoming Windows Phone 8 GRD3 release loaded on top. More info on the matter should be unveiled soon, so stay tuned.
