On July 11, Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia is expected to unveil to the world its first Lumia smartphone that packs a 41-megapixel photo snapper on the back, and some more info on the device’s possible arrival on shelves has emerged online.

The handset, known under the codename of Nokia EOS but expected to arrive on shelves as Lumia 1020, is said to be en route to the UK too, in addition to being launched in the United States on the network of AT&T, Cnet reports.

Although no official info on when the device could become available for purchase has been provided, rumor has it that August could be the lucky month for enthusiasts.

In addition to packing the aforementioned 41MP photo snapper, the new smartphone is also rumored to feature a new camera app, capable of taking full advantage of its capabilities.

One other interesting rumor on this device, coming from @evleaks, is the fact that Nokia might actually call it Nokia 909, and not Lumia 1020.
