Recently, proof that Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia is working with quad-core processors for upcoming Lumia devices emerged online, yet no official confirmation on the matter has been offered until now.

However, it seems that things are even better, and that Nokia’s Developer website contains reference to the upcoming Snapdragon 800 mobile processor from Qualcomm, which suggests that the company might be planning its inclusion on future devices.

According to Techtastic, Nokia adds hardware to the schema only after using it, which means that the company is indeed planning on supporting the powerful chipset, along with the Adreno 330 GPU that accompanies it.

For the time being, however, there’s no telling on when such a handset is set to land on shelves, but we’ll keep our fingers crossed for that to happen sooner rather than later.
