One week ahead of the possible unveiling of the Nokia EOS, the 41-megapixel Lumia smartphone from the Finnish handset vendor, a video that explains why Nokia is using ZEISS lenses inside its devices has been published.

The video, which can be seen embedded above, also teases some of the camera capabilities that Nokia Lumia 925 arrives on shelves with, being the second such material that Nokia has published this week.

“Since 2005 the only smartphone cameras to use ZEISS lenses have been Nokia smartphones including the Nokia Lumia 925. We wanted to show you why that matters,” the company notes in the video’s description.

In addition to the aforementioned 41MP photo snapper, the upcoming Nokia EOS (supposedly called Lumia 1020 when launched) will also feature an updated camera application, as a previously leaked press shot with it suggested.
