Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia is getting ready for the unveiling of new products at the upcoming 2013 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, and has already announced a press event for February 25.

The company did not provide info on what might be made official at the event, but some of the latest reports on the matter suggested that it might announce a new flavor of the Nokia Lumia 920, specifically designed for Verizon Wireless’ network.

The company was also rumored to plan the launch of a new Windows Phone 8 handset with PureView capabilities inside, though no official confirmation on this has emerged so far.

Other vendors are also expected to announce new Windows Phone devices at the event, including Huawei, which has launched one such smartphone in early January at CES 2013.
