Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia is gearing up for the release of new enhancements to the camera on its Lumia 800 smartphone, offering users the possibility to take panorama shots with ease.

Damian Dinning, the Camera guru at Nokia, has confirmed on Twitter that the company was working on the release of a native Panorama application for Lumia 800′s camera.

He did not offer specific info on when the update might be released, but chances are that it will arrive soon.

Moreover, the handset vendor might be considering the release of this application for other Windows Phones as well, including Lumia 900 or the lower spec’d Lumia 710 and Lumia 610.

Nokia has been long touting a series of camera enhancements for its Lumia 800, but the company hasn’t been specific on what will be added into the mix.
