14 DAY TRIAL // We reported last week that Nokia India sent out invitations for a launch event, but the company did not unveil the device that would be officially introduced, until recently.
According to a tweet by Nokia India, the Lumia 1520 will be officially launched in India on December 16. Previous rumors suggested that the Finnish company might announce the Lumia 1320 as well, but no additional details on the matter have been confirmed yet.
There's no telling how much the Lumia 1520 will cost in India, but rumors claim that it might go on sale for no less than Rs 45,000 outright, which is about $725 or €525.
There's also a slight change that the Finnish company may decide to play aggressively and price the Lumia 1520 at around Rs 35-40,000 ($560-$645 / €410-€470) off contract. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
