Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia has made available for download a new flavor of the Bluetooth Share application for devices running under Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7.5 operating system.

Unfortunately, the company did not offer specific info on what was changed in the new app iteration, namely version 2.0.2.2. The app is available on this page in the Windows Phone Store.

According to a post on WPCentral, the new update might point at the fact that Windows Phone 7.8 is nearing its landing on Lumia devices (which should arrive in February, as Nokia confirmed not too long ago).

Through Bluetooth Share, users can easily send and receive photos and videos between devices.

“With Bluetooth Share you can send and receive image and audio files between your devices. Switch Bluetooth on anytime you want to send or receive files, pair your devices and start using Bluetooth Share,” Nokia notes.
