Owners of Nokia Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 smartphones out there are now able to check out the features that the Nokia Beamer application packs inside, as it has become generally available for them.

The application can be enjoyed on these handsets following the Nokia Black update, which started to roll out to users only a few days ago, as WMPoweruser notes.

With Nokia Beamer installed, users will be able to share a stream of screenshots from their handsets to a smart TV or another large screen.

“Show your phone’s screen live on any display that's connected to the Internet. Share photos with friends and family on the TV in your living room, or invite colleagues from all over the world to view a presentation on whatever device they have,” the application’s description reads.

Nokia Beamer is available for download through the Windows Phone Store and is exclusive to Lumia smartphones.
