Soon, Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia will kick off the rollout of new software for the owners of Windows Phone 8 Lumia devices, none other than the Nokia Amber update that is already available on Lumia 925 and Lumia 1020, and it appears that the firmware has leaked online.

According to WindowsMania.pl, the update (which is based on Windows Phone 8 GDR2) is now available for unofficial downloads on Nokia’s Lumia 820 and Lumia 920 smartphones, only several days before Nokia begins its deployment.

As WMPoweruser notes, the update will wipe smartphones clean, which means that users interested in downloading and installing it will need to back up their files before proceeding.

Specific info on how to load the leaked builds on Lumia 820 and Lumia 920 devices can be found on WindowsMania.pl, along with download links to them.
