The same software update is available for Nokia 701 as well

It looks like Symbian lives, as Nokia has just released a new software update for Belle FP2 devices and Nokia 808 PureView.

According to AllAboutSymbian, software update 10.2(9) brings “quality improvements for telephony services.”

This maintenance update is likely to fix some of the 3.5G-related bugs experienced by Symbian users on some devices, so we strongly recommend downloading and installing this version.

No other changes have been mentioned in the log, so we must assume Nokia only planned to add a limited number of improvements.

Those who have yet to be notified on the update can search for it manually by going to Software Update app, that can be found in the main application menu.

Keep in mind that this update is pushed OTA (over-the-air) in stages, so not all Nokia 808 PureView and Belle FP2 users might get it at the same time.
