It's been almost eight months since Nokia 808 PureView hit shelves and the smartphone remains one of the most expensive devices launched by the Finnish handset maker.

The Symbian phone was initially released with a €400/$520 no-term price tag attached to it, but Amazon has just dropped the price to more appropriate levels, though fans of the brand will still have to pay quite a high amount to get it.

According to Amazon's listing of Nokia 808 PureView, the smartphone can be had for around $400/€305 outright. Check it out here.

The PureView 808 will ship with the latest version of Nokia Belle operating system, along with one of the best cameras on the market, a 41-megapixel rear photo snapper with PureView technology, Carl Zeiss optics, Xenon flash, autofocus and full HD (1080p) video recording.
