Nokia’s 808 PureView smartphone, the first handset in the company’s Symbian lineup to arrive on shelves with a whopping 41MP camera on the back, is now available for purchase in the UK for only £444.99 ($714/€551), SIM-free.

The handset has seen a £70 price cut over at Amazon, though only for the black flavor.

The white version of the device can be purchased for £30 more through the retailer’s website, also SIM-free and unlocked.

Nokia 808 PureView was made available with a 4-inch AMOLED touchscreen display on the front, and with the aforementioned high-end camera on the back and is currently receiving the Belle Feature Pack 2 update from the Finnish handset vendor.

Despite running under Symbian, 808 PureView is a great device, and enthusiasts have been attracted to it from day one. Due to the new price cut, it might prove to be even more appealing than before.
