Handsets like Nokia 603 and Nokia 701 receive it as well

Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia is currently pushing out software updates for some of its latest Symbian devices, bringing the firmware on these phones up to version 111.030.0609.

According to the latest reports on the matter, handsets such as Nokia 700, Nokia 603 and Nokia 701 are benefiting from the software update.

The new Symbian Belle firmware v111.030.0609 brings along a variety of enhancements throughout the smartphone.

Owners of one of the aforementioned devices interested in downloading and installing the update will be able to do so either over the air, or through the Nokia Suite software installed on their home PCs.

Apparently, Nokia hasn’t confirmed the features and enhancements included in this software update as of yet, but it is expected to pack performance improvements, along with stability and usability enhancements.

To check the firmware currently installed on their devices, users should type *#0000#. To check on the availability of the update, they should go to Options>Check for Updates.
