Owners of Nokia 515 and Nokia 515 Dual-SIM mobile phones out there can now download and install a new software update on their devices, namely firmware version 10.34.

The update is currently arriving on devices over-the-air and will provide users with a nice range of improvements over the previously available 7.01 / 9.04 software versions.

“Hey, just a quick heads up: Nokia 515 (RM-953) & Nokia 515 Dual SIM (RM-952): v. 10.34 software update is currently rolling out. This update is available on most countries/regions via FOTA (Over-The-Air),” the handset vendor has announced in a post on its support forums.

As part of the new update, users will be able to enjoy the addition of WhatsApp launcher, in addition to a variety of performance enhancements and usability improvements.

Additionally, the new firmware version comes to handsets in select countries with the WeChat and LINE apps inside. The Nokia Chat apps has been removed from these phones as part of this update, it seems (however, users in Latin America will still be able to enjoy its capabilities).

The update will roll out in stages, which means that some of you might have to wait a few days or longer to receive it. You can learn more on the new release on the aforementioned Nokia support forum.
