ASUS and Google are expected to make official a successor for the Nexus 7 tablet PC, and might launch it before the end of this month, recent reports on the matter suggest.

As Rbmen notes, a story on the Economic Daily in Taiwan claims that the new device will arrive on the market in July with support for 4G LTE networks, yet a specific release date hasn’t been provided.

Furthermore, the upcoming tablet PC is expected to feature a 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro (APQ8064) processor, while packing a 7-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a 1920 x 1200-pixel resolution.

The device is also said to sport a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, 1.2MP front camera, 2GB of RAM, 16GB / 32GB of internal memory, and a 3950 mAh battery.

Nothing has been officially confirmed on this, and we should take the info with a grain of salt, though more might emerge soon, so stay tuned.
