South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics is rumored once again to be the vendor chosen for the building of the upcoming Nexus 5 smartphone, and new info on the handset is now available.

According to a recent report from MyDrivers.com, the device will be based on LG G2, and might arrive in October, featuring a quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor.

Furthermore, the handset is expected to sport a 5-inch or larger touchscreen display, and to deliver a full HD resolution. The forthcoming mobile phone might sport a price tag of $299 off contract, as SlashGear notes.

LG has been rumored before to be the maker of the next Nexus model, but recent reports have also suggested that Motorola might have been selected to build the device, given that it is a Google subsidiary.

For the time being, however, no official confirmation on any of the above has been provided, and we’ll take the info with a grain of salt. Stay tuned for more on the matter.
