Nexus 4, the latest Google phone out there and the first to be manufactured by South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics, is getting ready for launch in Japan, and has already emerged in Google Play in this country.

The device is not yet up for purchase, and Google hasn’t provided specific info on when it will be released, but it seems that all should happen in the very near future.

Made official in the fourth quarter of the last year, the handset arrives on shelves with a 4.7-inch screen, a quad-core processor inside, 2GB of RAM, 8MP camera, and the latest flavor of Google’s Android operating system loaded on top.

“With your favorite Google Apps, an amazing Photo Sphere camera, cutting edge hardware, and access to your favorite entertainment on Google Play – Nexus 4 puts the best of Google in the palm of your hand,” Google explains.
