It looks like the elusive Nexus 4 is now delivered with a newer Android version. Although the smartphone is only available for purchase in a few countries, Google is making an effort to bring more features to its smartphone.

Brazilian blog Adrenaline reports the Nexus 4 is now shipping with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box.

We don’t have any additional details on the changes included in this update, but if the information proves accurate, Google might issue an official statement.

It’s unclear whether the upgrade is only available in Brazil or other Nexus 4 users in other countries received the update OTA (over the air) as well.

Google recently pulled all factory images for Nexus 4 from its servers without any further explanations. If there were any issue, then Android 4.2.2 might address these problems. Stay tuned for more info on the matter.

UPDATE: It looks like the update is available in Malaysia as well. The folks at Pocketnow have just received a screenshot taken off an 8GB Nexus 4 "for Malaysian customers."
