Nexus 4, the latest Google phone out there, is now available for purchase in Canada via wireless carrier Videotron at only $99.95 (€74) with the signing of a contract agreement.

Launched on January 30 at the operator, the handset featured a contract cost of $149.95 initially, while being available at $499.95 outright, MobileSyrup reports.

Today, however, Canadians can head over to the carrier’s website to purchase the smartphone for $50, with a monthly service fee of $49.95 or more including 200 MB or a Flexible-rate.

Nexus 4 lands on shelves with a 4.7-inch touchscreen display, as well as with a quad-core processor packed inside, and 2GB of RAM.

Furthermore, it sports 16GB of internal memory, an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, front camera for making video calls, and Google’s Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system loaded on top.
