It looks like Nokia plans to release new firmware updates for several older smartphones in the next couple of days.

New Windows Phone 7.8 firmware has been spotted on NaviFirm for several Nokia models, but there’s no telling when exactly the upgrades will be pushed live.

WMPoweruser reports Plaffo uncovered two new Windows Phone 7.8 firmware updates: 1750.823.8862.13110 for Nokia Lumia 800 and 1066.0.8862.13101 for Nokia Lumia 610.

Aside from the fact that it contains the Live tile bug fix, we don’t have details regarding the contents of these new updates.

The folks over at Winp.cn also spotted the same updated firmware for Nokia Lumia 505 and Lumia 520, as well as for a China Unicom carrier-branded Lumia 610.

Given the fact the new firmware shows up on NaviFirm, it shouldn’t be too long before Nokia makes it official, so stay tuned for more info on the matter.
