Owners of devices running under Google’s Android operating system are now able to download and install a new flavor of fring.

The new app release has just graduated from beta and brings along appealing new features, such as 1 Click transitions between audio and video calls.

Moreover, the new application release packs a mute feature in both voice and video calls, and was packed with a variety of other improvements as well.

For example, the development team behind the application notes that Samsung Galaxy S II users who upgraded to Android ICS will benefit from better computability.

They also explain that many of the bugs that have been fixed in the new application release were discovered during the beta testing period.

The latest version of fring for Android is available for download via the Google Play store.
