Wireless carrier AT&T is gearing up for the launch of a new Pantech device on its network, one that has been previously spotted online as Pantech Magnus P9090, and which can allegedly be admired in the photo above.

The handset has already received the necessary approvals from the Federal Communications Commission, and was also spotted on various benchmarking sites out there, yet no official announcement on it has been made so far.

The guys over at UnwiredView, however, have managed to grab a leaked press rendering with the handset, and report that it will be launched as Pantech Discovery.

The handset will arrive on shelves with a large screen on the front, while also featuring a 12.6-megapixel photo snapper on the back. Previously, the device was said to run under Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
