Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia is gearing up for the launch of a series of new devices in the not too distant future, and new details on the matter have emerged online, in the form of codenames for some of these handsets.

According to a recent tweet coming from infamous tipster @evleaks, Nokia’s roadmap would include devices called Ara, Leo, Moonraker, Onyx, Peridot, Superman, Tesla, and Vantage.

No specific info on these has been provided as of now but, should they indeed arrive on shelves as new handsets, more details on them will start to emerge soon.

One device that hasn’t been mentioned in the new leak is the Nokia Goldfinger, which was previously rumored to arrive on the market as a new, high-end handset from the Finnish vendor.

Should these codenames be something to go by, we might see Nokia Moonraker and Superman landing on the market as high-end smartphones as well, but this is only our supposition for the time being, so don’t take it for granted.

Soon, Nokia’s Devices & Services division will become part of Microsoft, and it remains to be seen whether the codenames list above includes phones that won’t land on shelves with the Windows Phone operating system loaded on top.
