Netflix services are currently available in the United States, Canada and Latin America. However, this doesn’t seem to take its toll on the number of downloads in the Google Play store.

That’s because the Android client has more than 10 million downloads to date, and a 4.2 out of 5 average rating, which is the result of more than 170,000 votes.

Those who download the application for the first time will get 1-month free Netflix membership offer, which cannot be combined with any other deal.

The latest version of Netflix features an improved user interface and some stability enhancements and bug fixes, which have yet to be detailed by the developer. In addition, a new volume control function has been included in the top right corner.

Netflix 1.7.1 is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.2 and up.
