Japanese wireless carrier NTT DoCoMo is reportedly interested in the launch of Apple’s iPhone on its network, though no final decision on the matter has been made as of now.

According to a recent report from Bloomberg, the wireless carrier has yet to officially confirm any plans on the matter, and is currently assessing the sales volume that Apple’s device would amount to on its network.

NTT DoCoMo has never had the iPhone up for sale for its customers, though it would not come as a surprise if it decided to go for it.

Next month, Apple is expected to make official two new iPhone models, namely iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C, which are set to land at more wireless carriers in Asia than before, including China Mobile, the largest operator in the world.
