Mobile phone maker Motorola has been long rumored to plan the launch of new smartphones running under Google’s Android operating system, and it seems that it is indeed getting closer and closer to making one of them official.

The handset has been spotted at the FCC as the Motorola XT1058, and rumor has it that it could turn out to be the recently rumored XFON for AT&T.

The handset indeed packs support for AT&T’s 4G LTE network, as well as NFC connectivity, and might end up being launched as the first X Phone in Motorola’s new family of devices, though an official announcement on the matter has yet to be made.
