Although Rogers confirmed a Jelly Bean upgrade for Motorola RAZR HD was scheduled to arrive in “early February,” it looks like the update is available for download one week ahead of the initial timeframe.

MobileSyrup reports that some Motorola RAZR HD users who bought their devices from Rogers and Fido have already received the long-awaited update.

It appears that the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update is about 308MB in size and is pushed OTA (over-the-air) in waves, so not all RAZR HD owners might receive it at the same time.

Those who have yet to be notified on the update can manually check for it by going to Settings / About phone / Software update.

As we mentioned earlier, the Jelly Bean upgrade might not be available right away, but it’s likely to arrive on all RAZR HD devices in Canada in the next few weeks.
