The long-rumored successor of Motorola DROID RAZR HD appears to be one step closer to launch.

Packing a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 CPU clocked in at 1.5GHz, the DROID RAZR HD should land on shelves at Verizon Wireless in the United States with support for is LTE network, and with upgraded capabilities when compared to DROID RAZR.

The phone is also rumored to sport a Super AMOLED HD screen (1280 x 720 pixels), and MicroSD card slot.

Although it emerged quite a few times on the web, the smartphone is still unofficial, but it should not take long before Motorola decides to unveil it to the world.
