Mobile phone maker Motorola might be ready to make the long-expected Moto X smartphone available starting with August 1, some of the latest reports on the matter suggest.

According to a recent article on PhoneArena, an ad campaign coming from renowned designers B.A. Bakken suggests that the Android device will be coming as soon as August 1, although an official announcement on this has yet to be made.

The device, already confirmed by the handset vendor, has yet to be officially detailed, yet it won’t land on shelves as a high-end smartphone, but only as a mid-range device, it seems.

Apparently, Motorola will focus more on innovative features with the new device, and less on packing it with top-of-the-line hardware, as rivals do with their high-end products.

Even so, the phone should pack a 720p display, while being powered by a dual-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor.
