Motorola has already announced that it will share more details on its products during a press conference that has been scheduled for September 4. The press event is part of the IFA 2014 trade fair, which is set to kick off in Berlin, Germany, early next month.

Until then, though, it looks like those hunting for deals on Android smartphones specifically in Canada will have at least one reason to be happy, as Motorola’s Moto G already affordable handset has been discounted heavily once again.

According to MobileSyrup, the Moto G is now available for purchase for just $120 (€82) outright through London Drugs retailer. Other carriers and authorized resellers are also offering discounts on the Moto G, but not that good as the one mentioned earlier.

For example, Koodo, TELUS, and Virgin Mobile are now selling the Moto G for prices between $150 (€103) and $200 (€137) outright. There’s also Future Shop and Best Buy that are offering the Moto G for only $128 (€88), but only the TELUS version is discounted.

Motorola Moto G is expected to be replaced next month with the Moto G2, which is why we’re seeing the former being heavily discounted all over the globe. Do you plan on taking advantage of this offer or wait for Moto G2’s reveal in early September?
